A
large
proportion
of
households
rely
on
communal
or
public
dumps
which
are
not
emptied
regularly
in
many
instances.
By
2006,
public
dump
continued
to
be
the
major
method
of
refuse
disposal,
which
constituted
57.6%
(Table
6.4).
House-‐to-‐house
refuse
collection
represented
only
4.8%
and
those
burned,
buried
or
dumped
elsewhere
constituted
7.9%,
3.9%
and
25%
respectively.
