As regards the HIV / AIDS, according to the National AIDS Secretariat, GuineaBissau, is one of the few countries with incidence of both types of human immunodeficiency virus, namely HIV1 and HIV2, with prevalence rates tending to be higher in HIV positive cases1. The prevalence of HIV among people aged 15-49 years is 3.7%. 231. The Guinea Bissau National AIDS Report of 2016 indicates that 2,392 mothers are in need of care to prevent mother-to-child transmission. The prevalence of malaria in the regional offices throughout the country, decreased by 90% among children aged 6 to 59 months and 83% among individuals over five years of age. XI. Child Labor 232. All children must be protected from all forms of economic exploitation and from doing any work detrimental to them or interfering with their social, physical, mental, spiritual and moral development. 233. In terms of domestic legislation, the prohibition on the employment of children under fourteen (14) years of age, is enshrined in Article 146 of Law No. 2/86 of 3rd April, as well as the prohibition of children over that age or, have not attended compulsory schooling.
