(Source: National Health Insurance Fund) Orphans: Report of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Security – Directorate General of Social Programs (Department of Social Security) revealed the numbers of orphans in the Sudan by states and the sponsorships available to them from the Zakat Chamber, popular sponsorships and charity associations and funds. Table 9 below show the figures.
