The country witnessed a real GDP growth rate of 14.4 percent in 2011, up from the 8.0
percent recorded in 2010 (Figure

to reach its 2011 target by less than 1 percentage point (0.8 percentage points).

The Services Sector continued to be the single largest contributor to GDP, even though
the sector grew by 8.3 percent in 2011 it contributed about 48.5 percent to GDP. Industry,
on the other hand, recorded the highest growth of 41.1 percent, but contribute

percent to GDP. Agriculture, however, recorded a marginal growth of 0.8% falling from
