For the city of Abidjan, where the population is estimated at 4,707,000 inhabitants, i.e. 20% of the Ivorian
population, according to the 2014 General Population and Housing Census (RGPH), an emergency plan of 48
billion has been put in place to reduce the potable water deficit.
