Za_ 2. The Electoral Commission Article 43(1) of the constitution provides for the establishment of the EC. The functions of the EC included the following: a. to compile the register of voters and revise it at such periods as may be determined by law; b. to conduct and supervise all public elections and referenda c. to educate the people on the electoral process and its purpose; and d. to undertake programmes of rate expansion of the registration of voters.
