272. Section 107 of the Act, provides that no employee, trade union or other person shall take part in a strike which is likely to hinder or interfere with the carrying out of any essential service. If a person engaged in an essential service goes on strike, he shall not be eligible for payment of his salary. 273. Section 2 of the Industrial and Labour Relations Act does not apply to the Zambia Defence Force; Zambia Police Service; Zambia Prisons Service; Zambia Security Intelligence Service; and Judges, Registrars of the Court, Magistrates and Local Court Justices.
