An
IT
manager
and
two

IT
professionals

seconded

Department

Central
Systems
Development
Unit
(CSDU).

IT
personnel
have
been
given
training
in
Oracle
Database
Administration
and
Cisco
Certified
Network
Administration
to
enable
them
manage
the
database
and
the
registration
applications.

Statistical
Service
to
Identify
Dormant
Companies
A
data
quality
improvement
project
is
currently
on-‐going
to
among
other
things
remove
dormant
companies
from
the
electronic
database.
None
has
been
removed
yet.
Ghana
Statistical
Service
(GSS)
was
supposed
to
collaborate
with
the
RGD
to
create
the
database.
GSS
in
pursuance
of
this
process
purchased
five
(5)
new
computers
in
2004
and
jointly
trained
some
staff
of
the
RGD
and
the
GSS.
