395. In the context of the decentralization of cultural activities, Decree n° 20041430 of 22nd June 2004, amending Decree n° 1994-560 of 15th March 1994 and
establishing the administrative and financial organization of the operational
modalities of the regional cultural bureaux, was introduced to consolidate the
decentralization of cultural management by strengthening the administrative role
of the regional officer for culture and the protection of the national heritage.
