CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN CO-OPERATION IN OTHER FIELDS ARTICLE 131 Other Fields 1. Subject to the provisions of this Treaty, the Partner States undertake to consult with one another through the appropriate institutions of the Community for the purpose of harmonising their respective policies in such other fields as they may, from time to time, consider necessary or desirable for the efficient and harmonious functioning and development of the Community and the implementation of the provisions of this Treaty. 2. For purposes of paragraph 1 of this Article, the Partner States may take in common such other steps as are calculated to further the objectives of the Community and the implementation of the provisions of this Treaty. 106
