These indicators of malnutrition have remained high to date. Prevalence of stunting is higher in the rural areas than in the urban areas while for both wasting and underweight, prevalence is higher in the urban areas. These statistic suggest that overall, compared to the 2014 demographic health survey (DHS), malnutrition is increasing in Lesotho. 166
