Botswana still has a functioning democracy and maintains the rule of law and is ranked highly in governance indicators. challenges faced n the implementation of the Vision include those of security, increased rate of youth unemployment and growing gap of inequalities between the rich and the poor. The Country is in the process of developing vision 2036 which will succeed the vision 2016.
