Ratification of Regional/International Human Rights Instruments 9. The Commission commends Ethiopia for ratifying the following regional and international human rights instruments during the reporting period: i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. vii. viii. ix. x. African Charter on Statistics; African Youth Charter; African Union Non-Aggression and Common Defence Pact; Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; Protocol Against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, their Parts and Components and Ammunition; Protocol Against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air; Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons especially Women and Children; Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict; Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography; Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict. 10.
