Concessions granted to hotels and the hospitality industry under the LI therefore no longer apply. 4.4.2 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) There has been marked improvement in the investment climate in the country. FDI increased from 385 projects valued at USD1,278.90 million in 2010 to 514 projects valued at USD7,680 million in 2011 (Table 4.7).
