Supervision of the securities and insurance sector is through the CBL. Lesotho has not formally
adopted the Core Principles for Securities and Insurance Supervision and Regulations. The CRM
was, however, informed that the Insurance Act is currently being revised to attune it more closely
to these principles, for example with regard to liquidity requirements.
