Chad signed or ratified a number of human rights instruments during the period covered by this Report. These include: 1. International instruments  United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, ratified on 27/07/2009;  Additional Protocol to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking of Persons, in particular, Women and Children (Palermo Protocol), ratified on 27/07/2009;  Optional protocol to the UN Convention on the rights of the child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, ratified on 28/08/2012;  Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, ratified on 28/08/2012;  United Nations Additional Protocol on Trafficking in Persons, ratified on 10/08/2009;  Convention 182 concerning the Worst Forms of Child Labour and Immediate Action for their Elimination, ratified on 18/08/2000. 2.
