In this context, cooperation is being carried out between the national stakeholders and the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees in Egypt to provide social workers for unaccompanied children who apply for registration in UNHCR and to ensure that they are provided with the necessary services. 7. Egypt is also working to strengthen cooperation at the regional and international levels to combat the phenomena of illegal migration and trafficking in human beings, where it is leading the African Union-Horn of Africa initiative to prevent and combat the smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings.
